Positively dripping with pomposity, aren't you kalico?

I stand by what I said earlier. It is irresponsible for this person to come on these boards and offer, without any warnings, her mind-altering plants for trade or sale, knowing that possession could be a felony should an unsuspecting gardener fall for her offer and have them shipped into one of the many states where possession is illegal or regulated.

If I need a teacher, kalico, I don't believe I would choose you or this woman for real information.

By the way, Sara, nice photos of your peyote plants in another thread. Legal to grow in South Carolina, are they?

Say what?

Nothing I offer is illegal!

What is the matter with you?

There are 7 illegal botanicals in the U.S., and I sell NONE of the following (because they are illegal)-

"Marijuana" ~ Cannabis species
"'Shrooms" ~ Psilocybin containing Mushrooms
"Opium Poppy" ~ Papaver somniferum
"Peyote" ~ Lophophora williamsii
"Khat" ~ Catha edulis
"Coca" ~ Erythroxylum coca
"Iboga ~ Tabernanthe iboga

No other botanicals are illegal nation-wide in the U.S., you would know this if you had any idea what you were talking about.

Your an idiot and you couldn't tell a "Peyote" cactus from an Astrophytum or a Turbinicarpus, now could you?

I did offer a warning, look at the 4th post I ever made a this forum, it says-

quote:
Of course you should know your local laws when ordering any plants! St. John's Wort is illegal to plant in many states because it is considered a noxious weed!

I am always sure to check my local, state and federal laws before cultivating ANY botanical, I would assume any good gardener (good citizen) would do the same!

And I'll BET you some people here have grown some Poppies and St.John's Wort without thinking about any laws!

After a few emails with Teotzlcoatl's I asked her advice on purchasing an item and she wrote back that is was highly illeagal and could be dangerous. I'm glad we have the diversity here.
Hey just because it's legal does not mean it's good for you. I'm glad your here as I appreciate your insights.

Yes that item you were looking at on Ebay was basically a prepared drugs and VERY illegal in ALL states! So I'm glad you talked to me before buying that! I would NEVER sell something of that nature, I only sell legal plants! NOT drugs! And especially not prepared, illegal drugs!

I'm sorry I don't understand your question.

If you asking if these plants are safe to grown around children and pets than the answer is yes, except for the botanicals listed as "Baneful".

Hey Teotz,

you'd better learn to watch your manners. First off, Lisa Ann is a dear friend of mine. When you speak to her, you need to speak to her with respect. Second, we don't cuss here, so don't do it again.

Oh Yeah, welcome.

You can call me Hairy, Moose, or Knuckle. Knucklehead is ok too, as well as Anthony, Tony or perhaps if you prefer, an old Fudknucker .

It don't matter what you call me; as long as you call me in time for supper!

She didn't treat me with respect at all.

You give respect, you get respect.

That is how it works.

Lisa can watch her manners.... she is the one who degrades to calling me names such as "brat" when I'm trying to have an intelligent conversation.

I don't care who your friends with...

Those who speak to me with respect, will be spoken to respectfully, those who don't, won't. Simple.

Thanks for the warm welcome, buddy.

Teo, of course you wouldn't have any way of knowing this, but I really think LisaAnn was just trying to chit-chat with you and be friendly in her own way. You've been there before and so have I. Someone starts out with some **intended** good-natured ribbing and it lands wrong on the other side...

Hairy, I also think that Teo is trying to understand us and be friendly (without getting tramped on). Smiler

So, Teo, as you observed yourself I am not especially interested in growing psychoactive botanicals. I am, however, interested in you! You seem like a very interesting and knowledgable person. Hopefully all this fussing will smooth over soon... yawn

Well thanks Liz! Smiler

I think you may be right about Lisa, but you can see how I thought she was just trying to insult me I'm sure? Especially with the way other people have acted towards me here.

Hey this lady is on to something, y'all should listen to her! Smiler
