GH:

Only have 1 scented geranium (Citrosa)--cuttings didn't survive--so any would be appreciated even though I'm not sure where I'll put them for winter. Pumpkins? Patrick grew them years ago, I never have, so I have no specifics in mind. What do you suggest? Need to update my list to reflect recent activity...

Can do all the seeds requested. Also, do you still want mint? Have cut back for winter, but have plenty of viable roots for snipping. Give me specifics. It's getting cold up here.

Jems

I should have looked at my balloon flowers today. I may have seeds to capture out there. I'll get back to you.

No longer a market virgin; looking forward to year two of being a professional grower.

I collected lots of balloon flowers (mostly blue but also pink), peach-leaved bellflowers, delphinium (I think blue medium height, can't remember variety), malva fastigata (white or pink), Morning glories (picotee, heavenly blue and grandpa ott's) and oregano (a very hardy one). I wish I had done more! but there is always next year. Oh and I think I can go harvest bachelor's button seeds. And Jude gave me plenty of hollyhocks! I could pass some on.
I also have lots of jerusalem artichokes and a few potatoes (all red, klondike rose, blue, fingerling and shepody especially) for planting.

What I want:
sweet peas to mix with what I have
larkspur!
calendula
chamomile
pansy/viola
marigolds (any)
zinnia (any)
nigella
sunflowers (real tall)
nasturtium
wild lupine (blue, lavendar and pink mix) I have tried to capture these wild in the area but never do it at the right time

maybe fancy eggplants or beets people would buy at market and maybe other veggies if offered. Smiler

Minnie,

Yes, I'll take some Balloon Flower, Bell Flower (do you know the exact variety?), and some Morning Glories. Look over my list and let me know which you want in equal trade.

CAMPANULA Persicifolia Coerulea - Peach-leaf Bellflower - Medium 2-3' - Plant 16" apart. Vertical stems bear blue bells along its length. From Bluestone Perennials but I have had them for many years and have had many babies.
Unfortunately I forgot to mention I only have 3 picotee MG seeds remaining but lots of the others. The grandpa otts self seeds in my one bed with a vengeance every year.

I would trade for any of these you think would be fair:
larkspur (would take lots)
calendula (would take a dozen)
nasturtium "
sunflower "
sweet pea (would take lots)

Minnie, your seeds just came in--I'm going to have a fabulous bank of morning glories next year! Thanks. I have some seed for Pearly Gates and Mixed Giants too.

Yes, I have horrendous handwriting. Comes from being an academic too long. Big Grin Will look up the source website again and email you. It's worth investigating.
