Hi GD, The info on Dave's Garden, Campari tomatoes do not produce seed. "plant does not set seed, flowers are sterile, or plants will not come true from seed"

I read that, too, but after going through pages of google, I get the impression that there is seed out there, but it is only available to commercial producers in quantity.

Right, you just can't save seeds from your purchased tomatoes to grow your own! There are so many yummy tomatoes out there, I hope you find one you like as much as Camparis! I spend so much time drooling over the descriptions on the tomato seed sites. They all sound good to me!

I would love to try them just to see what I get. I have looked all over for a tomato that is not sweet. wandago@sbcglobal.net

Last year i fermented seeds from store bought Campari and grew tomatoes in greenhouse. I liked tomatoes, not sure if they came true, but they were good.

Maybe I'll give this a try. I can take a little taste before I ferment to make sure the tomato is a good tasting one. Some of the camparis they are getting in the store now are not as good as the earlier ones.
