Eldest son turned 13 - and suddenly has decided he is a 'man' (cute though, observing his daily hunts for a sign of whiskers and/or armpit hair). With all the upsets in this house lately, he's being pressed into duty. He actually made breakfast for the three of them this morning - French Toast! And here I thought he considered Pop Tarts as genuine foodstuff.

Ah, yes...the "manhood" period! Been there a couple times...it IS cute when they look for "manly" development!
My son, at home, (I also have a 29-year old son near Portland, Oregon) will be 18 in May...my daughter just turned 15, and has had a steady boyfriend for nearly a year...YIKES!

On a garden note, I have several new tomato sprouts, and moonflowers coming-up, this morning! I went and bought lots of plastic cups yesterday, to transplant my babies into, as they will get too big before it's time to put them outside.
I haven't had a garden in about 3 years, so I am just too excited this year!
I am going to sprout some seeds, because it looks like some that I planted in soil, are taking WAY too long to peep out...it's killing me to wait!
I am going to have to "peek" at them in the soil soon, to see if they are sprouting, or have rotted!
It's making me crazy!

Already waiting for SPRING!
