My favorites are raspberries, black or red, and blackberries that are growing along roads and public trails where I don't have to tend them, only harvest them by the bucketfull. Second favorite bramble is on lands that I have access to and only need cut a path into the patch for an easy harvest. When you rent, you find these berries to be the most energy and land efficient. Do you have to cut it back each year or do you just let it grow?
