You can find fish emulsion (Safer® brand for one) in many big box stores and WallyMart as well.
Seaweed emulsion (or kelp) is a bit harder to locate. But Alaska® brand makes one that I've seen in those same stores. Sometimes it comes combined w/fish emulsion.
Bonide® is another brand that makes both fish emulsion and liquid kelp and is often found in those same stores.
Thanks for the replies. I've looked at Walmart and Lowe's but haven't found anything. I'm assuming its in with the other "fertilizers" and plant food section of the gardening center???
Thanks. Having the brand names will help me spot them faster.
We don't have it at our Lowe's or Wally's. I had to order on line. It came in less than a week. I'm looking for the place I ordered from and will post when I find it......
Eureka! I found it. This is the kind of farm supply store I wesh I had in my area. I called them late on a Thursday, the shipping was reasonable for a gallon, I got the fish and kelp mix and it has been great, I received it on Monday morning and I live in the sticks, no kidding.
It's funny, but I looked all spring and summer at our Lowe's, Home Depot, and Wal-mart and none of them ever had it, either. But, last week at Wal-mart found in the discount aisle about six bottles of it at half-price. So I had to buy two! Maybe it was on their truck from another store, who knows? So, keep looking!
Our garden center store sells it by the gallon. Supposedly Wally's has it, too, but I could never find any. Would rather support the garden center anyway. I'm sure Wally's would have been cheaper, but buying local -- even at garden center prices -- beats paying for shipping any day.
You are lucky to be able to get fish emulsion/kelp mix locally. I sure can't get it around here. I do like to support our local farm stores when I can.

I have been able to pick some up at Bowen/Southern States. If they don't carry it or are out the store mgr. will more than likely order it for you. The shipping cost is excessive to have it shipped to your home. I have found our local farm store mgr. doesn't mind ordering it for customers.

I had a gallon shipped from VA and it only cost about $6.50. I live 11 miles from two small farm stores and 25 from my large So. States store plus the drive time there and back. In this case it was worth it. I live in the Sticks y'all!
I do hate to pay high shipping charges, and just won't. If I feel the shipping is too high and I can't find another source with reasonable charges, I ususally do without.

Shipping can be high but driving somewhere yourself is often equal with gas so high. I had a return to make about 15 miles away and it was cheaper to send it in the mail. But some companies really jack up the delivery fees and it is indeed very annoying.
