Muddy knees David! Compost is my friend. Every day I enroll in gardening school. Some days it feels like kindergarten!

I am completely lost but this thread has me laughing! Beautiful petunias Lisa.. very nice and Im still chuckling over Alaskan's salvia comment. I think I fed that fire Harvest
O, fruit loved of boyhood! ..the old days recalling, When wood-grapes were purpling and brown nuts were falling! When wild, ugly faces we carved in its skin, Glaring out through the dark with a candle within! When we laughed round the corn-heap, with hearts all in tune, Our chair a broad pumpkin, our lantern the moon, Telling tales of the fairy who travelled like steam In a pumpkin-shell coach, with two rats for her team!

Lisaann, I will try! I'm now waiting for the Garden show to come on the radio at 8 am. I'm heating up some previously frozen (by a company not by me) vegie lasangna (sp) for breakfast. It's cold and gray out. I've got some writing work to do, but dang, there's a good basketball game on at 12:30 (Detroit Pistons is my team). So what to do...what to do. At 3 is a documentary about how people of faith are tackling the climate crisis. gosh, here I am spilling all my news, and everybody's asleep, and I won't have anything to say later! Lisaann, Will the conversation be on a new thread? ok, I hope to catch you all later. ellen
