I planted all my peppers, melons and flower starts today. I got to shut down 3 of 4 grow lights. Now I get to watch a week of cold, wet weather. Not complaining, it beats killer hot and sunny days at transplant time. We had that artichoke tonight and it was great Cool

Brewing one right now, BJ, though I doubt it will be as potent as yours. Smiler

So MH, what we really all want to know right now is "how's the weather down there"? Sounds a little damp and breezy. Hope you're not blown over to Indiana or some such place by now. How's it going?

Oh MY Goodness!

IT finally got here! FRIDAY

Yeah MHG, like LIZ ask, You still in Iowa, or not?

Weather is great here! 84º and sunny and guess what? I have scapes! Gonna post on Garlic thread and show off! I get you guys weather tomorrow afternoon. I've battened down the hatches!

Liz, I'm going to pull the stock thread up to the top. Might help you with figureing out what's what on your planting if the markers are wore out.

My brocolli is forming heads! Woo hoo! and my cabbage is getting bit by little green worms that I have been smashing and smearing on my pants leg! Ugggh.

Hit me friends! It's my favorite day ! Hope you all are well!

Dave, is your butt still dragging? Mine was but I just got an ass lift and now I'm good to go!

Pop another tab!

Thanks LisaAnn. I did find the chart I made when I planted, if I can just read it. Got a while b4 that becomes a priority, though. First need to get the rest of the stuff in the ground! I was running around putting markers in tonight when a thunderstorm blew through. Weekend forecast looks great, with rain next week. Who could ask for anything more? (Besides a clone, which would come in very handy right now.)

Hi gang!
Liz, glad you are getting some water. Start planting!
Lisaann, my butt is so happy it's Friday. Everybody I talked to here was feeling the same way. Why does a Monday holiday hurt so much? Roll Eyes I was ready for Friday by noon Tuesday for crying out loud.
All points bulletin for MHG. HELLLLOOOOO!! Razzer

Man I never thought I'd make it to the weekend!
I need to pull all my plants out of the garage tomorrow. We had hail and tornado warnings today so everything that was hardening off went in the garage for "hopeful" safe keeping this morning.I need a clone too I havent had this late of a start on my garden in years.
Work has just been too nuts around here for me.

Tell me about it. I think I may have a melon for Thanksgiving if the cutworms leave them alone.
