I have had a rhubarb plant for several years now and it seems to be growing fine except for 1 thing. The stalks never seem to turn that wonderful red color that they should. Do you know why? Is it something that is missing in the soil? I had my soil tested last Spring and everything looked good. Any help would be appreciated.
Wow: There are a couple varieties of rhubarb one has green stocks and one has red I would say you have the green variety. Couldn't find my old catolog with both for a reference but the red variety is called Cherry red. in Parker Seeds. Its all just rhubarb to me but you can't get red from a green variety.
