I really want to have everybody's info for the contest thread. It doesn't matter how small yours turned out, just give me a number. I have searched both threads a couple times and could use some help. I do realize some northern gardeners haven't dug theirs yet. Thank you!

Muddy knees David! Compost is my friend. Every day I enroll in gardening school. Some days it feels like kindergarten!

I'm a first time grower, so please cut me some slack.
This is my hardneck entry: German Stiffneck. The tape measure is misleading; it is 2.5" across and 8" around.

This is my softneck entry: Kettle River Artichoke and it measures 2" across and 6 7/8" around.

If this is eligible, I'll enter it in the People's Choice category. Otherwise, you can get a laugh at my drying shed:

OK, here we go. This is a Polish Softneck. Not a great size, but the biggest I got (it shrunk a little in curing so far, but not too much). I bought calipers just to make sure my measure was right. The width/circumference ratio seems odd because the garlic is not really round (OK, it’s very oval).

Width - a shade under 2 3/8ths

Circumference - about 6.75 inches

Based on the wrappers on it, I think I pulled this one a little late, but as it is my biggest, it just has to last until planting in October (woo hoo - only 3 more months 'till Garlic planting).
