OK, here we go. This is a Polish Softneck. Not a great size, but the biggest I got (it shrunk a little in curing so far, but not too much). I bought calipers just to make sure my measure was right. The width/circumference ratio seems odd because the garlic is not really round (OK, it’s very oval). Width - a shade under 2 3/8ths http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn37/James2317/0726090002.jpgCircumference - about 6.75 inches http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn37/James2317/0726090004.jpgBased on the wrappers on it, I think I pulled this one a little late, but as it is my biggest, it just has to last until planting in October (woo hoo - only 3 more months 'till Garlic planting).
