I planted tomato seeds in coir 3 weeks ago. They came up very nicely after 1 week, but I am still waiting for "real leaves" to appear. Do I have to take the seedlings out of the coir for these leaves to grow?

is coir the coconut stuff ??? Is there any soil ????
If not that is the same as Hydroponics ...thats a whole noher ball of wax but can be done..
