Solomon's Seal. It establishes colonies in deep shade, and offers these hanging white blooms in spring. Really a sweet plant. I don't know where you are, but now should be a fine time to divide if you need to. All those plants are pretty rugged. I wouldn't cut the foliage back unless it's broken or brown, except with hostas. You can cut the leaves or leave them. Either way.

Iris you can divide almost any time. Don't expect blooms next year, but it happens. Just don't let these, or the others, dry out. Plant them in a permanent home if possible.

I am not an expert by any means but my wife just loves anything that grows from a bulb or tuber. She says that as long as they are out of the ground anyway go ahead and divide them, gently. But try to put them in a permanent spot so they wonÂ’t be disturbed again too soon.

Of course, if I'd read your signature I would have known you're in Tennessee too. Duh. :_|

Thank you so much for the info, I do want to get em in permanant homes however I have 2 problems right now. 1. I really don't know know where we want em to go & 2. I pulled my back & hip last week turning compost & am not able right now, I'm a highly excitable boy sometimes. I've got em temporarily planted in some finished compost right now but will get em out ASAP. Thank y'all again for the help.
