I was out walking around my garden today and noticed that my beans are all starting to come up. My corn is about 3-4 inches tall, and the beans are just poking thru the ground. I think they all came up too...all but 2 of the corn did. My squash is looking good as well. I have a couple of bell peppers sprouting on one of my plants and a couple of tomatoes have appeared. So far everything seems to be doing ok, but I'm not sure if my lettuce will make it, I think there are creatures eating it. It looks healthy enough, but the leaves seem to be getting shorter and shorter instead of longer!!! I made a batch of compost tea the other day--my kids think that is totally gross by the way. I've learned alot from you all over the last month or so and I appreciated it and am excited--Just thought I'd share.
