My neighbors and I have seen a lot of snakes this year (poisonous and non-poisonous). They used to hang out by the creek, but now they are in my garden beds. Any ideas on encouraging them to get the heck out?

If you're in a drought area, their probably coming inland looking for better water reserves. Or else, maybe you have lots of mice you aren't seeing.

I say welcome them. Snakes don't do structural damage and keep rodent populations down. I have lots of snakes, and I just tell them "good morning" and watch where I step.

Oh, you might want to look up info on the different kinds of snakes you're seeing. If they're mating, there could be a nest nearby.
