I've been reading posts! The woman of the house makes me do it!

Are there any other dogs out there that hate to sit and listen?

If so, post your mug here! We will start up our own chat room!

Hey...sorry I went and had another nap, us old gals are getting up in years, we just had a great birthday, we's eleven years old now!! but we still look young and cute, just like you said, thanks by the way.

We're mighty glad you won't chase us! There use to be an old yeller dog around here, who loved to chase us, why once he almost caught my littler sister! Every night after mom made us go to bed, old yeller would be let out of 'his' yard and he would come over to our yard to protect us from 'coons and such'...well every night that dog came over and PEE'd on all four corners of our duck house! He was so rude sometimes that old dog...though he did keep lots and lots of meaner critters who would eat us up, he sure did.......Mom still misses that old yeller dog. Now she always talking to us ducky girls, we don't know what she's saying,
except sometimes she comes out and calls us 'ducky, ducky' she says and we see something in her hands, and 'that' means shes got something really yummy good to eat!!! We run and run as fast as we can, sometimes littler sister will fly! ahead of me and get there first...that makes me mad, because I'm so much bigger than her I can't fly you see. But boy when I get there, I make littler sister move out of the way, and I eat as fast as I can, so I get more than she does, I do I do! Thats why I so much taller than littler sister see! I'm not fat though, just way taller see.

How about you, do you have any sisters or
brothers?
Oh, my names Queenie, cool name too don't you think, see I'm taller so I get to be the queen, well, no thats not right, Oh I remember, though I really do wish I could forget! Lordy yes, I so want to forget. When I was little, way littler than littler sister, we were all out in our for real pond, minding our own ducky busyness you know. Well, out of the blue...
Oh I'm sorry now I'm being rude....what were you saying???

Hey Lucky, how's it going? Bummer on your little "problem." I've been having some tummy trouble lately myself. Yesterday I didn't even feel like eating breakfast until afternoon. She's been giving me yogurt every day. I'm not sure it's going to do any good, but I like the yogurt, so what the hay?

So I'm sitting here all nice-like and cozy on my person's lap. And now she's gonna get up and do stuff outside in the yard. Leave me all alone while she does it, too. I can just tell. Don't you hate it when they do that? Mad Why doesn't she just do her yard stuff in the fenced section so we can be out there together?

Well, thanks for writing Lucky. More later.

Max

Hi, I am Marley! I am a black lab that lives here with my brother and 2 sisters. My friend Sadie hangs out too. It is a good afternoon. I am sharing my master's popcorn and I also get all the ones that Kenzie keeps dropping. I have 2 ducks that I live with . One of yours looks exactly like one of ours. I have some bad news for hotmail. Her duck on the right is not a girl. It's a real boy duck Eeker Don't wait for eggs from that one.

(Oh franeli, what beautiful pups you have, what joy!!!)

Hey Marley
I wish I could see you Smiler I bet that old yellow dog that use to live here would love to have met you! He just love other dogs! He was always friendly barking at other dogs, asking them to come over.
Let's see, sister and I are eleven yrs old now, she can sometimes really labor all day long sometimes to lay an egg. I'm so glad I'm past all of that now!! Some where between age 4/5 I
started going thru 'the change'. For real! I freaked my mom out! It started slowly, I first got a really pretty white necklace, and instead of my head turning grey, it turned a really pretty green, kind of patchy at first, It took a long time to look as good as it does now. Then I started losing my pretty brown feathers, but I got these gorgeous silver ones. And Wow my tail feathers even have a curl or two,...but best of all I also stopped laboring to lay eggs, what a relief that was!...Well none of this strange going ons didn't make me any less attractive to my two boyfriends, bless their departed souls. Littler sister really misses those two horny boys, but I sure don't.
I'm glad your with your brother and sisters, thats lovely. I bet ya'll have all kinds of fun!
Oh its nap time again! I love a good nap.

WooF! Glad to see you guys!

The lady of the house is watering plants, and has now had her fill of me being up her butt and under her feet, so she told me to get over here and post to my friends!

Oh, I'm 10 gonna be 11 in September, and my mom and dad have passed on to doggy heaven, so it's just me! They are buried out there in the yard, and the lady says that's why the luffas grew so good!

The Franeli pups need to lick the lady's face more! That will get her up to play!

Hey Marley and Company, we need to have a doggy shing ding!

Where is your Mug Max?

Does anyone remember that funny pup picture?

The lady can't remember who he was, but she laughed and laughed and showed me his mug! He was a little guy, but I'm sure he would be fun to hang out with too!

Hey Queenie! I had no idea Duckies go through the change. Very interesting. The lady said I would learn new things here everyday!

And the lady has another bone for me! But, she is being a witch right now! She put it in the freezer for summer time! Well, I love her! So, I will wait patiently! Cucumbers and bones! Goes great together!

What are you guys favorite treat from the garden?

I love tomatoes! (Juliets are just my size. My person cuts them in half for me.) I also really like carrots. Actually, there isn't much I don't like, now that I think about it. Big Grin She's even given me cabbage and broccoli.

And I really, really like bananas. But I think they come from somebody else's garden. I know the sound when she pulls one off the bunch. Yummm. Good snack! (She only gives me a little bite or two. She eats the rest herself. Mad)

Max

P.S. My person says maybe she'll take a new picture of me out in the backyard this weekend if the weather is nice.

Hey handsome feller!

Yeah, you need to watch that, getting to close when your lady is playing in the yard. Why one time my sister got konked on the head, while mom was weeding, wow was she put into a daze! Her eye even filled up with blood....sure did make mom cry!!! But you see we have to get real close to her, so we can get bugs, more bugs and worms!!! Just watch your head! Ha ha, I was going to say 'duck' hee hee.

Does your lady ever spray you with that lovely water from that snakey hose looking thing? I love when my mom does that! why we stand there like its raining and sometimes tip our head back and drink some of that good water, yummy.
Makes mom smile too.

Sorry about your doggie mom and dad, I lost two of my sisters, and both of my boyfriends..long time ago I think. Mom planted them too!
Their all up at the top of the hill near the big pond. Mom planted pretty flowers up there for them, though she should have planted bugs for eating, I think. Bugs are really really good, I like them like you like the bones your lady mom gives you!!

Hey we're almost the same age, thats cool! Are you changing colors too? I didn't know I would change colors, sister still looks the same, but she sometimes can still lay an egg... might be with me its just one of those every once in awhile happenings. I know mom tried to find out, and I think someone said they seen it happen before,...
Don't you just love playing in the garden! Me and sister have so much fun! We really like those little bitty tomatoes!!! or a big one cut up, mom gives us those all the time! She likes to cut up the little ones too, It gives mom a scare when she sees us swallow a whole little bitty one, like we might choke or something, I think it looks so cool! makes a huge looking bulge on your neck!ha ha! quacks me up!
Don't reckon I ate a cucumber, but I do like the litte bugs on them! those are so good, yummy!
but my favorite things are mudpies! quack quack, they are so yummy yummy.

Our friends sure are beautiful! It's so nice to share pics and chat!

Ya'll are so cool!! and just ducky!!
May ya'll always have hugs and bones and bugs ...

Smiler

Hi guys. I'm Flash. My person calls me Flash the Wonder Dog, but really, I just go by Flash. I think she's using what those humans call sarcasm when she calls me Wonder Dog.

Mom took me out to the gas station with her today. (I love to ride in the pickup.) She even shared her cheese balls with me on the way home. Yum. But she wouldn't give me any of the big ol' candy bar she bought. Just hogged it all herself! Imagine!

So, here's a picture of me that was taken at Thanksgiving when all those food smells were so thick in the house and I got lots of leftovers.

BTW, Marley, you've got some really pretty sisters!

Wish Mom had a better picture of me. This one is just terrible. Makes me look like I was out all night chasing coons.

Hey Flash, nice to see you! Say, I got to go for a car ride to the gas station today, too. You mean you get treats? Ha! I didn't get any treats. Just a ride. (But I really like car rides, so I guess it was ok.)

Hey Queenie, does your person take you for car rides, too? Sounds like you guys have a great home. Though I'm not sure about the water-spraying part. It would have to be awfully hot...

Some of you guys are lucky ... especially Marley. I don't know what happened to my doggy mom and dad. Or to my brothers and sisters. Sometimes that makes me sad. But then I just bark to go out and chase squirrels and I feel ok again. And, flawed though my person may be, I do think she loves me. That part's nice.

Max
