So we are moved into our new home and I am itching to plant some veggies.. only thing is that I have all this SHADE in my back yard area... I know lettuce grows in the shade... any other good veggies that will do without tons of sun?

Veggies: peas, beets, spinach, radishes, carrots and salad greens are pretty shade-tolerant plants. Currants and some raspberries will also bear fruit with less shade... basically these will all grow, but will grow more slowly than their counterparts in the sunlight, and any melon, nightshade or bean will not bear in the shady areas.
