I was having the same problem with my easter egg (white) egg plant. I am using a tbl. of sea mate to one gallon of water to foliar feed every 5 days and it is now actually green again and blosseming properly. Sea Mate is totally organic and is made by Plant Tabs here in Hunt Valley Maryland. It has perked up all my vegetables by foliar feeding. I haven't watered the ground with it because we have been getting plenty of rain. I just use it as a foliar food right now. What I believe are aphids are terrorizing alot of the plants in MD, and of cource slugs are having a field day. I don't know where you are located but here in the central east coast the good things in the soil are being washed out of the soil from so much rain that you have to do more than normal supplemental feedings. Maybe that's all you will need too.
