Organic Gardening will upgrade its login and registration system on
December 11. The new system is needed to support some of the major site

Saturday morning I went to water my garden and noticed that my 5-5" cilantro were completely gone, my zuccini were almost gone except for a 1" stub left and my carrots seemed to have disappeared too. I didn't have much to begin with and this just made me want to cry! :_| I'm thinking it was probably a rabbit? My cucumber, tomato, strawberry and asparagus plant were untouched ?:| Is it too late to start them again?
On a good note, my tomatoes are starting to flower!
You can definitely plant all three of these now. Get 'em in quick though. Also, I would recommend some wire mesh...I use as little fences as well as curve them over plants and hold them in place with stakes or earth staples. Especially helpful when plants are young. Good luck.
Irish Spring soap will deter them if they are rabbits. They were having such a feast on my lupines that I put some chunks out. The chunks had disappeared the next day. Still a mystery.
Being one to not give up easily, I soaked a bar of the stuff in hot water and sprayed the plants this time, as well as the ground around them. No more wabbits. Not the most organic way to go, but I had simply HAD IT with those little hassenfeffers.
