One more question. I have seen this huge tree that has berry's on it that are very similar to our wild dewberrys.
The owner of the tree does not know what it is, and neither do I. I have tried to find it in books on berrys but I have not been successful. they are !/2" long and go from green to red to black,they are very sweet. {Yes I grab a handful on my morning walk}

Yup, sounds like mulberries, and they rock. They are so easy to grow, and they are so yummy, and they are so plentiful you can share with the birds and still have plenty left to eat. Not sure why I don't have one in my yard yet. Gonna try to convince dh to let me replace the lonely crepe myrtle in front of the house with a dwarf weeping mulberry...
