Hi, I am new to this forum and was wondering if anybody had any info to help me out. I have a small determinate tomato plant in a large self-watering container (not earthbox or anything, just a 14" pot) and I noticed that the plant roots seem to have extended down into the water reservoir. I have no idea how this could happen OR what to do about it. The plant is only about 18 inches tall and otherwise seems to be in good shape (has about 6 green tomatoes) but I can't imagine that havings its roots in a pool of water will be good for it long term... Any ideas/thoughts? Thanks!
