Organic Gardening will upgrade its login and registration system on
December 11. The new system is needed to support some of the major site

I have a pear tree in my yard & an excess of un used pears on the lawn, does any one know if pears and oak tree leaves are good to mulch into my vegetable plot ?
Yes but grind or mash the pears first, one caution, oak leaves can acidify your soil if enough are used, they also decompose slowly due to the tannic acid in them. If you have acid loving plants, you can shred the oak leaves and use as mulch.
