Just got back from Mother Earth News message boards. First time at that sight. Didn't care much for it. Seemed unorganized.
Saw a chat going on about "global warming" and had to respond. Some very rediculous statements being made. There were even some concerned that the end of the human race was inevitable, but "Mother Earth" would survive. I would like to thank everyone here in the OG message boards for being rational as well as conscientious.
I went to M E N web site to see what they had to say about gardening. I guess I should have known by the name what I would find. I believe in organic gardening and protecting the planet, but oh my goodness!
I really don't want to insult anybody, so I had better stop now. I'll just end by saying that I love my planet and my little yard and garden plot, but I'll stop short of worshiping the ground I walk on.

Call me a weirdo but I avoid chat despite my over-sized ego and mouth (or perhaps it's my 50 wpm 2 finger typing skills?) As with any community, some dominate, some argue, some overdo it. Moreover, I have found that, sitting in front of a mirror for deep conversations works best, there are so few arguments that way...

Hi, I just want to say that M E N has a lot of valuable information, but, anything can be over done. We are to take care of the earth and to use the natural resource that was given to us, but for worshipping it?? Please I worship one thing only and that's God not the earth. I agree with your final comment, I too am thankful for what I have that's why I am going to do my part in raising my Children with good Gardening knowledge and just an overall appreciation for what we have. I hope I have not affended anyone, but that's how I feel. Thank you,
