After an exhausting search for a product to treat my septic holding tank, I am relieved to find an organic product that is safe, effective and inexpensive. The company develops "natural alternatives that contribute to sustainable agricultural development and environmental protection" and claim their products have no adverse affect on the environment and are not harmful to animals, plants and humans. I ordered EC-7003 from Ecochem Inc which is "formulated to increase microbial populations and accelerate the natural (biological) process". A 2 year supply costs @ $30; that stuff in the local supermarket loaded with chemicals & warnings cost $7.95 per mo! Oh, and you don't have to hesitate about dealing with this gang. I paid $5 to have my order shipped ground, but they took it upon themselves to ship air mail because of the 4 day Thanksgiving weekend! Further, they honored the incorrectly advertised price on the internet (now corrected!) They make a compost accelerator composed of beneficial microorganisms & nutrient & enzymes & stuff and I am looking forward to trying that in the spring. They assure me their products are 100% organic and not GMO'd!!! Anyone ever try their products? They also make a grass conditioner that also seems rather affordable and I might just have to try that too!
