I am doing a research paper on organic gardening, and what better place to learn about it than right here? I am interested in ANY articles/books that anyone might have read that cover the aspects on why organic is the BEST!!!

Back issues of OG and Vegetarian Times discuss the differences and why it's better. There's a guy called Charlie Wilber who was mentioned in an old issue of OG He wrote a book called How to Grow World record tomatoes. He grows all organic and holds the Guinness record for most tomatoes from one plant. An average of 342 pounds per plant! If he can do that organically then it's got to be the best.

Eliot Coleman has written several good books on the subject. No doubt Rodale has several titles as well and their books were always good.

Shepherd Ogden has been my organic gardening guru for years now. Check out "Step By Step Organic Vegetable Gardening". There are probably revisions by now. Elliot Coleman is great too.
