It turns out that many products we thought were safe, from reputable companies, including even Seventh Generation (according to the LA Times story on this subject) in fact have carcinogenic ingredients.

Thanks for posting this, jennifer. I had briefly used some Kiss My Face products (which were listed as containing the carcinogen) awhile back and I'm glad I no longer use them. I am glad, however, that my favorite Dr. Bronners All-In-One Hemp and Almond Oil Soap is listed as OK. I luv that soap!

Yep, it's bad out there. You have to read labels on even the so-called "safe" companies.

I hope that if they get enough angry letters they will rethink their formulas.
