Organic Gardening will upgrade its login and registration system on
December 11. The new system is needed to support some of the major site
enhancements that we are currently developing. The new system is shared with
other Rodale sites, including Prevention, Men's Health, Runner's World and Women's Health.

If you are organic, buy organic. If you don't like their product, don't buy their product. If you don't like the politicians, don't vote for them. If you care about the environment, then live like you do care. If you don't like what they do, boycott them.
These are just a few examples of how you can use your power of money to make an influence on how you live, affect your surroundings and get businesses to change their practices. I may not be a millionare, but every one wants my dollars, so I speak with them. Yes, it may cost me more to live this life style, but I do sleep better at night knowing what I am trying to change. My view of a healthier earth.
Yes, I have won a few(local store carrying more organic products) to losing some(Walmart doesn't giave a shit about me). However I keep plugging away to make a difference in this world for a cleaner, safer living place for my family. Do what you can, since every little bit helps.
It's called 'market forces' Yes, I agree, vote with your feet!
Except the biggest majority of what we spend our money on is taxes. Taxes, that we usually have no control over. We are 'captive customers'
How can we change that? Every time another new government program is instituted, it's going to cost us more. Oh but it will only cost you another $.50 a day or whatever. But every time the government intrudes and enforces programs, it takes away a little more of our freedoms. Hey wait a minute, that's why this country fought a war of independence!
De-fund programs=more freedom. If I want to support something, I will pay for it.
I don't buy chemicals nor anything else artificial for my garden/lawn. Well, OK in my shop I use stuff like carburetor cleaners.
