December 11. The new system is needed to support some of the major site
enhancements that we are currently developing. The new system is shared with
other Rodale sites, including Prevention, Men's Health, Runner's World and Women's Health.

Wasn't talking about OG---was referring to Organic Style (slick, shiny & fluffy pretty much describe it)and the way many OG subscribers were SLAMMED---switched over without their consent. Sorry it wasn't clear which mag I was talking about. The new OG isn't slick, shiny, or fluffy---just sad. A poor imitation of what it used to be.
I actually thought it was clever to use archival images mixed with new photography. It seems like a real effort to return to their roots...so to speak. I think, like all new ventures, time will tell. But if we all give up on OG, their success will be hampered even more. I still believe we should support our common causes, be they organics or world peace. And when all is said and done, come on gang, it's just a MAGAZINE! Geez!
I agree with you. I got so disgusted with Rodale that I demanded a refund on my entire subscription price, not just for unmailed issues. As far their products and publications are concerned - I'm done with them.
I know this old news now, but they are still sending that Organic Style magazine and I HAVE cancelled the rest of my Rodale press publications (Maria's done a pretty good job on ruining Prevention also) My dad was in publishing (a CFO no less) at one time and I remember when the original owner passed away and the "family" came in ....dad would mumble about them not knowing what they were doing and sometimes the last name of a person did not mean that they had any common sense. I now see what he meant. I still have not had them get OG back in my mailbox, but if what you are saying is true maybe I just need to move on altogether.
Yeah...my e-mail was quick return also...then I just never received OG and am still getting Organic Style (My e-mail was sent on Aug 28th) Have you received an OG?
