I posted my question (with this same subject) in the forum "Over the Fence". Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I couldn't find the question over there - I assume that you have it and want to know what to do about it...unfortunately there are veyr few effective products for edibles, organic or otherwise. There is some possibility that mycoryzae (spelling?) may be useful in controlling this type of problem. Check out a product called Plant Success. First, tear out all infected plants and the soil around the root ball. Otherwise plants replanted in the area will get infected also.
