No doubt. What I really should have said was, "This is good news... for now."

I have always felt that Monsanto just needs to bide their time. They should not even be going after the food market with their seeds, we are making it too much trouble for them (which is good).

I feel their true market will be in corn and soybeans for fuel, not intended for food use. Since we aren't eating it, most people (unfortunately) won't protest their use. As those technologies develop and the earth's fossil fuel supplies dwindle, Monsanto is sitting on a goldmine. And though we will still object due to concerns for cross-contamination of our food supply, our voices will be drowned out by those clamboring for "MORE FUEL"!

Well the power company here is using something called switch grass to grow and burn. It seems like a really neat product. I haven't done any research yet so that may be premature on my part. It grows anywhere especially near water. It gets tall and semithick like bamboo. It creates a haven for wildlife during the time of year when they are raising young. I was told that it wan't invasive. I have some seed that I'm going to try down by the lake and see what happens. I hope this is as good as it seems. If any of you know anything more about I'd love to hear it.
