A contributor on another message board indicated that they tried to subscribe to OG and were told that it had been discontinued effective July/August. What gives? Are they not taking new subscribers?

To quote Mark Twain, "rumors of our death are greatly exaggerated." OG is taking certainly accepting new subscribers.

In a sense,, the name was changed from Organic Gardening to O.G. A different name, a different format.

I'm glad, Scott, but it appears that somebody is sending out bad information from Rodale. I hope most f the "old Organic Gardening subscribers" are holding their breath to see how the new OG unfolds. I would like to see a little bit more substance to it. When does the next issue hit the stands?

First, I am grateful that you have brought this to our attention. We suspect that this info is being given out by a subscription agent - who is understandbly confused about these changes - rather than our own customer service department.

Second, the OG editors have heard readers' concerns about the content and are working to address them. The next issue has just been sent off to the printer and will begin mailing in a week or two.

Thanks,

As a long time reader to OG I was really disapointed in the last issue. There seemed to be very little in it. When I resubscribed to the mag. Someone pawned of something called organic style on me that isn't what I subscribed to. Then I got the latest issue of OG and it was so thin that I thought it was a pamplet instead of a magazine that I have read for years. Hopefully you bring back the old style of the magazine. Best luck.

i was also told that organic gardening was no longer to be. i had a subscription to organic gardening..but was sent a notice saying two of my magazines would no longer be available and was sent the new organic style in their place. recently, i was in a home center and saw o.g. on the rack and was very disappointed that i had not been receiving this magazine.
