In the "How to Create a Photo Album" post the Rodale IT Dept gave some info as to how to post a picture within a post and listed some good sites where you can load your photos and from there place them into one of your posts.

If I may be a little less technical and more step-by-step as to how I just figured it out. (Hey, ya learn something, ya pay it forward, right?)

I used Flicker.com. I've got an album there already.
-I clicked on one of my pictures.
-Went to the bottom right hand corner of my home page of the album, where it says: "dimensions" or "sizes".
-Clicked on that and up comes the image w/a variety of sizes I can download. From thumbnail to gigundo, dial-up-headache-time size. Eeker
-So, I clicked on (in this case) "Small", which translates to 240X180 pixels. (Not to worry, Flicker "translates" each size into how many pixels it is so you know you're within the "load-size" limit that they allow here.) You could click the next size ("Medium") and still be within OG's guidelines.
-Okay. Once I click on that size it loads it to a blank page on my computer.
-Then I copy the URL that's in the address bar.
-Come back here.
-Make a post and somewhere within that post paste the URL with [IMG] [/IMG] tags around it. As was advised by the Rodale IT Dept. DO NOT USE THAT 'EASY FORMAT' OPTION TO PASTE YOUR IMAGE'S URL. THE 'EASY FORMAT' IS IN ONE OF THOSE LITTLE GREEN BOXES ALONGSIDE THE SMILES, COLORS, ETC. You have to do this manually.
-Result: Tyler & Sandy, My Helpers

Lord, I hope after all this yakking, this works.........YAZOOOO! IT WORKED!

The "Experimenting" I did last night was to try something I knew was incorrect, but gave it a shot anyway: I posted an clipart image (of the hummingbirds) and linked it directly to the website where I got it, when it specifically said on that website not to link it directly to them. Obviously, I should have gone w/my gut and not done it cause it's gone this morning.

Won't do that again.

This is a test. The profile section has some avatars, so I selected one to complement my signature (I hope). Now we'll see if it worked.

I use Flickr too, but all I have to do is right-click my mouse on the image size I want, select "view image", and copy the URL that appears, as the page loads that image, and only that image, with no html mucking it up. And yes, the "easy load thing" DOES work. All you have to do is paste the URL into the little bar.
