What kind of luck is a black skunk crossing your path three nights in a row?

Since I’ve managed not to run him over, I’m going to consider it good luck!

And sweetest in the gale is heard; and sore must be the storm
That could abash the little bird that kept so many warm.

I'd say that's good luck. And even better luck if the dog doesn't find the skunk.

Top, I sure hope that you haven't jinxed me. I'm taking care of my brother's dog -- she has a habit of getting sprayed. (Three times while I've had her -- who knows how many times out in her "country" home.)

LOL! Sorry, I hope I didn't jinx you too. Some dogs never learn.

I had a black lab/golden retriever that never did learn. He'd attack any and every skunk he met and not rest until the skunk was dead. Seems like as soon as he got to smelling better, he'd find another skunk to kill. He even learned to get them out of a live trap!

I'd have to say it's simple luck. It isn't good or bad until something happens.
