| My husband had an early father's day- we had a get together over the Sabbath to watch our soon to be married son get called to give the blessing before the Torah reading in the synagogue. After that we all threw candy at him (his sisters got in some good shots).We had eight out of our children and eleven of the grandchildren over for Friday night and all day Saturday (they slept by my daughter and various neighbors). One child and grandchild couldn't make it, but will be here next week when we all spend the Sabbath after the wedding together. My husband had a blast with all of the grandchildren running in and out. Even the little ones from England ran right over to him (seeing us on Skype made us familiar faces). So, he had a good "Father's Day" (and it wasn't a bad belated Mother's day for me either).
