Today, our son-in-law became the commanding officer of the submarine USS Louisiana (SSBN743) Gold Crew. We are very proud of him. He, along with our daughter (and grandkids)has made a lot of sacrifices and worked very hard to achieve this. Prayers for safety and success, please.

What a proud moment for all of you. Congratulations! I am in awe of any one who can even be on a submarine (confession time- I have a huge phobia about being under water in a boat, in a tunnel, in any way contained under water) let alone command one. Excellent job, s-i-l.
