So, it's been about 10 days since the deer last "trimmed" my pole beans where they grow through the fence.
I picked up a couple springs and hooks just now while I was out, with the intention after work this evening I'll put up some "deer scares" -- pieces of fishing line that will spook them, but I can unhook the spring to take down to work in the garden. It's worth a few bucks of parts
Any bets the doe and her two fawns will therefore come through this afternoon before I get back outside?
Matt I too grew red runner beans on a. Vinyl deer fence and they ate the stems, just enough to kill the vine...little suckers..and they look so pretty in full bloom too.
