What are the rules these days? I don't see any political posts here. Are they not allowed?
Is profanity not allowed?
I guess I should re-read the forum rules since I haven't been posting much lately. Would hate to offend anybody.

Well, I answered my own question about profanity. From the Terms of Service: "THE COMMUNICATIONS AREAS OF ORGANIC GARDENING FORUMS SHALL BE USED FOR LAWFULL (sic) PURPOSES ONLY. NO MATERIAL SHALL BE POSTED ON OR TRANSMITTED THROUGH ORGANIC GARDENING FORUMS WHICH VIOLATES OR INFRINGES IN ANY WAY UPON THE RIGHTS OF OTHERS, WHICH IS UNLAWFUL, THREATENING, ABUSIVE, DEFAMATORY, INVASIVE OF PRIVACY OR PUBLICITY RIGHTS, VULGAR, OBSCENE, PROFANE, INDECENT, WHICH ENCOURAGES CONDUCT THAT WOULD CONSTITUTE A CRIMINAL OFFENSE, GIVES RISE TO CIVIL LIABILITY OR IS OTHERWISE OBJECTIONABLE."
How long ago did these new TOS go into effect? I find it objectionable that "RACIST" and "DISCRIMINATORY" are not included. What's up with that?

phoebe bird THREATENING, ABUSIVE, DEFAMATORY, INVASIVE VULGAR, OBSCENE, PROFANE, INDECENT, covers racist and discriminatory. As for partisan political threads they have been banned since 2004. the only political threads that are allowed are related to organic growing, environmental and other similar topics those rules have been in force long before you stopped posting regularly; when Scott was still moderator.
I've been around since 07. Profanity and Political posts haven't been allowed.

In the words of my old pal, "To reply or not to reply?"
Makes some sage advice from my great grandaddy come to mind!
"Is this Steve person the forum moderator?" More correctly (and politely) asked, "Is Steve the forum moderator?" Just sounded slightly "DISCRIMINATORY" and thought you would appreciate a helping hand.
