A bump appeared on one of my knees, about 1" in diameter, with darker skin on it. As someone who has had cancer, of course it freaked me out. My oncologist suggested a dermatologist. And that doctor just laughed, and asked if I spent a lot of time on my knees. Of course, I'm a gardener, I replied. It turns out that people who kneel a lot tend to grow these bumps; she sees them frequently. And they're nothing to worry about.
So do Catholics get them when they get older too? Jennifer in zone 10, Los Angeles, Sunset zone 22 |

My Mom, catholic, doesn't have them---but does have arthritis in her knees.
Glad your bump turned out to be nothing serious! {=^;^=} __________________________ {=^;^=} Living the good life amid the wildlife. |

LOL! I can understand your concern over a bump with your history Jennifer. Isn't it wonderful when it turns out to be nothing but a side effect of a hobby?

I could make a joke, but I'm not going there. Especially in mixed company.
I'm so glad it was nothing to worry about. __________________________ You can call me Hairy, Moose, or Knuckle. Knucklehead is ok too, as well as Anthony, Tony or perhaps if you prefer, an old Fudknucker . It don't matter what you call me; as long as you call me in time for supper! |

It sounds like nobody else has them. No other old gardeners/Catholics here?

I haven't had them, but if I do get them, I will know not to panic.

Jenniferch - this old Catholic has them. Spent lots of time on my knees in Catholic school (rosary time).
