I personally found the gas pump up the backside rather amusing, but I'm a little warped, I guess. Razzer I also thought it was a guy with his head in the sand like an ostrich, and not a decapitated corpse. My only real gripe with the guy (until recent events) was the lack of Cliff Notes.

That is a lot of forums! I was only banned from one for calling the moderators nazis in so many words. But many, many people have had issues there.
ANYWAY my gripe is when people's posts are so long- no matter what they say I ain't readin' it! Razzer And just repeating the same rhetoric is very annoying. I hope Allenwrench finds a forum that is a good fit. I appreciate when people have some concern about the future over people who have rose colored glasses and think nothing would ever bother Americans. I also appreciate his wanting to 'test' beliefs but he didn't apply that scripture accurately.

Going semi-pro in 2009! Grew up on a corn/veg farm but didn't know until my early 30's I wanted to be a farmer!

Compost is great, but you don't need to be a chemist to use it.

I've been following along on most of this Allenwrench business, not bothering to read all the rants, not interested in all that.

Yes, he did ask a lot of questions that I'm quite sure he could have researched on his own.
I did learn some things from the many questions that were asked.

But, aside from all the bitterness and from a purely gardening standpoint, I must say, the pictures he posted of his before and after were, in my opinion, for a first garden, very impressive.
He turned a 'nothing yard' into a beautiful garden and for a beginner, he should be proud.

I gotta second Hairy Moose Knuckles and a couple others sentiments. That longer post by allenwrench on page one, not including the quote, was 1,240 words. Sorry, but I have better things to do than spend that kind of time reading someone's tirades, explanations of those tirades and then reports of tirades at other forums, their reactions and his banning percentage rates! Eeker Holy crap, that is one big ego Allenwrench must have! Have a little humble pie dude.

I agree with you Mary and Harry both. At least I have been able to stay out of this post until now.

That could be interesting to watch. Idig has a political forum. There are a few alpha males that hang there who will gladly hand allenwrench his a$$. Way too heavy for me. I'd much rather talk about garlic, compost or tomatoes, than about what the white haired dude is doing right or wrong this week. It's supposed to be about gardening, right? Roll Eyes

Muddy knees David! Compost is my friend. Every day I enroll in gardening school. Some days it feels like kindergarten!

Actually most of the "alpha males" on there, at least from the liberal side, are alpha females. Some of them like to cut and paste just like Allen.

Every forum has the weirdo who posts too much and can't spell or make himself understood, and the brainy jerk with all the staunch opinions and scientific facts whose conceit won't allow him to listen to other's views. Roll Eyes
