I knew I'd find Dirt here, complaining as always...
Compressed discs I got 12 years ago in a fall. Doc said I shouldn't be able to walk (what do they know?) Spinal stenosis. It means they can give me all the shots in the world into my left butt, and I feel nothing. I can even dance! Now, though, I feel like my back was inherited from Abe Lincoln. Trick is to whine and stay busy.
Slow down? Not on your life!

I've got a couple bulging discs that cause all sorts of problems too. I do find staying busy to be the best prescription. As long as I'm moving, I don't hurt as much.

no, they don't start falling off, but you do begin to consider having them removed.
My thumbs were terrible, then I have nearly switched entirely to novel reading on the ipad. Don't have to hold the book open. Thumbs are much better, but the middle finger of my right hand????
If it isn't one spot it is another! Good grief, I can remember Gramma saying, but I did not understand. mk
