Not looking for sympathy, just being pis--ed off. The landlord from whom I lease this house and land left a voice mail today saying he's selling his properties. He was so apologetic he could hardly talk.
The lease is up in Sept. I can deal with this, but I said once I'd never move again. Bride lived here with me before she died, for two weeks, and an acre or more of food is ripening.
I'll sleep on this, and let my brain figure it out.

If your landlord is selling all of his properties, he may be selling them to another investor who will continue to rent to you. DH and I sold our rental properties a few years ago and we felt really bad for our tenants however the new landlord kept all of the tenants and honored their leases until they were up. After that he was free to re-negotiate new leases with the tenants but they all stayed under the new terms as far as I know.

all is not lost, either you can stay with the new owner or get to start a brand new adventure. I will all work out for you I can feel in in my old bones. Mavis
