I'm sorry that I am late. I hope you are feeling better. I am an email away if you need to chew the fat. God bless.

It don't matter what you call me; as long as you call me in time for supper!

You have many kids and a garden to nurture - who takes care of Alaskan? I think you are a great gal and I've always thought of you as a friend.

Me too on depression, it's mild and caused by the lack of a new life post divorce. My dd says I get 1/2 year for every year of marriage to get over it, so I have 7 years left. I need help.

Your babies do take a lot out of you, but as the mother of 2 adults and one almost, I can promise you that they will give back so much love, laughter, and grandbabies too. Hope you are feeling better.

funny funny

I am doing much better now. Smiler

I am still "managing" instead of "doing great", but things are really doing better.

In someways the crisis was a really good thing. My DH is now much more aware of how much I do, and is also much more helpful. And I no longer feel any guilt for doing 'me stuff'.

I love you all, and it meant an ENOURMOUS deal to have you all rooting for me.

I was rereading some of my past posts, it is amazing how much my atitude has changed since seeking help.

I wanted to say again how much I NEEDED you'lls support, and how wonderful it was to have.

THANK YOU!

Oh, and to answer the one question, baby Finan will be 2 months as of tomorrow.

My attitude towards him is changing so much too! Big Grin I now think he is very cute.

Good thoughts are so GOOD!

Alaskan,

Even while I've been too busy to get here much, I have been thinking of you and this post often. While knowing each day will bring you farther into the sunshine, I was worried and praying. Hugs to you, you wonderful woman whom I love to visit with whenever I can. I'm so glad you have such great support and found your way to the help needed to climb out. Sorry your Mom is leaving so soon, but I'll bet your DH will be there now all the more. Cheers chick, and I too wish I was closer! Especially to all that beautiful scenery!

Alaskan...so glad to hear you are doing better...I have thought of you often these past weeks, hoping you were improving.

Thanks for having the courage to post about this here...there are some very compassionate folks willing to help in any way they can. I loved that you re-read the posts and got "extra" comfort from them.

Glad that DH has become more aware of all you do...it kind of fades into the background of a family's life, until something interrupts the cycle, and people start looking for clean underwear and a hot meal, etc!

I have been through the post partum depression as well as the garden variety (life-long struggle) and I know how important the smallest thing can be in lifting the clouds.

Peace and blessings to you and yours

Gail
