Some of you may remember the horrific death of the daughter, and only child, of an old friend of mine. Today is the third anniversary. It's so sad, so hard. She's an elected state official and is in the public eye constantly, which actually is good for her as it keeps her extremely busy. But I know that it's always with her.

These anniversaries are hard even when the death wasn't horrendous. I can't even fathom what your friend must be going through.
