Do you mean shelf life or after mixing? I have no trouble with shelf life. I've always used Rumford Aluminum free baking powder since my 4-H leader told us to use it. I've never had trouble with it after mixing, but I don't let any recipe sit long after I stir it up. Hope this is helpful.
It's only a weed if you can't use it!

I use the aluminum free version. Never did a side by side, but it has worked fine for me. For all baking powder and soda, as soon as you wet it, you have to rush it to the oven, or it looses its oompf.
