If any of you are located in Indiana, our county extension educator is going to be offering a Canning 101 class in May. She'll work in 2 locations in Johnson County. This is a one-evenign class covering the basics, but she can cram a lot into just a short time. The cost is $10 which will include a Ball Blue Book.

A Master Food Preserver course is also planned for later in the summer (maybe June) but that's a lot more committment - 40 hours. That will be offered in 2 different counties.
