What can I do with them, besides just cutting them in half and scooping them out with a spoon and eating them like Mom used to do? Does anyone have any recipes for them?

You should always have a plant B.

And they're coming! Maybe in a month. I no longer make fruit preserves of any kind. DH has diabetes and doesn't eat that stuff, and I hardly do either. So I've been freezing the guavas instead. Just scoop them out and put them in some type of container or plastic bag and pop them in the freezer. You'll appreciate them months later, and they have no additional sugar.

Also I give them to thankful neighbors.

What about a simple sorbet or granita?

Mmmm, sorbet.

I have been so busy trying to get stuff done indoors that I'm kind of neglecting the outdoors, with the exception of watering. I need to get out there and pick them up.

I think maybe my SIL and some of the people at the house where she lives might want to eat some.

It looks like the passion fruit is coming too.
