Tiger cape. I don't usually take such wunnerful pictures, either.

Any idea what kind of horn these toggles are made of? I'm thinking "deer antler", but I'm not an expert. People have been asking, and all I can say is "elfin rhino, poached on the black market in the land of Avalon".

Tiger gets to keep this one. You should see it on a sunny day, when the metallic bits shine!

The fleece blanket that started this jag: the Fall Fairies! (Or "Autumn Jawas", but I can't list them as such. Roll Eyes)

Those buttons are made of peach pits. I'm filing more of them for more buttons. Can anyone here recommend a good sealer, NOT an aerosol, that can stand up to some washing and drying?

I have three seasons: GROW, *SEW*, and SEED CATALOG!

NOT a Keebler.

Awesome! I made capes for Barbie dolls once, but never for real people. I just might make myself one, one of these days.

Oh, and Jim, I do that all the time, read something wrong. Red Face Sometimes I misread thread titles in a way that they sound totally inappropriate for a family forum! Big Grin

You should always have a plant B.

Elfie, those capes are grr-reat! I'm a bit partial to Tigers. That was my parents nickname for me until I was about 18.

First glance I thought it was "scapes" too!

Nice "capes"!

*sigh* Frowner I still have both the Tiger and one Fall Fairy capes, and the market has finished for the season. (Rain, rain, rain! With half an hour of sunshine so we could strike our tents, but not dry out and warm up. Roll Eyes)

I'm doing a few more craft shows in November, but that will be the limit of my efforts for the rest of the year, concentrating again on Etsy.

And I'll be making two more capes: Charcoal Cheetahs, or Chimney Cheetahs, if I want to capitalize on the commerce of Christmas. Cool

I've been using a Minwax spar sealer on my gourds this year, but they really haven't been put to the test yet. It's supposed to be waterproof but I don't know how it would stand up to repeated washings.

Hm. Thanks, puttgirl. I never thought to go with "exterior" finishes, but that makes sense.
