That's my Tiger standing in front of my blooming (half-done) Dragon's Blood sedum and the sour cherry tree. I've even got some borage going (mid-lower left of the pic), which I doubt will have a chance to go to seed now that Tiger's eating every bloom the moment it opens. Borage flowers taste like lightly-honeyed cucumber slices, and are fantastic when floated in iced tea or Coke. This is the embroidery detail she was modelling for me: a damask skull. Because she is a DARK Tiger, of course. In fact, she refused to go outside for the picture on such a lovely day until I told her she'd be standing in front of "Dragon's Blood" and a SOUR cherry tree. For those in the craft way: yes, the ribknit on the cardi looks wonky, but that's because I had to stretch it in the hoop so it would sit properly when it's worn. And Tiger's still growing, and intends to wear this lovely to school every day she can. Unlike the wings, which I had embroidered onto a WHITE cardigan, and which she now refuses to wear. I think I'll put that up for sale as a second-hand piece on my market table. Foo. I have three seasons: GROW, *SEW*, and SEED CATALOG! NOT a Keebler. |

Great garden. That cherry and the Tiger have both grown!
Love the damask skull. I might have to talk mom into getting a design like that for her embroidery machine for my "Dark One". I can see it done in blood red on a black sweatshirt! _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Bloom where you are planted. tulips 4 buddy at yahoo dot com |

I know I am hideously late seeing this but I hope your DARK Tiger is still wearing this! Ahhh, probably outgrew it by now!
I had a DARK Tiger too, and he would have loved this on some of his clothing, but he has tamed now, thank you very much, and I am happy about it! Of course, he's 22 now! |
