Hey there! My mom had two stair railings made to be mounted on the wall. She wants to use brackets, but I disagree. The way they are made, it looks like it could be mounted on the wall, with a system of hidden brackets or something. So question is... how would we do such a thing?

I'm guessing these are wrought iron type things? Pictures or a better description would be helpful.
If you screwed a small "L" bracket (or two or however many are needed) onto the wall, making sure you get the screws into a stud in the wall, you should be able to just hang you railings on them and they wouldn't show much.
