I found this through a Twitter and LiveJournal contact. The free "patterns" links on the right side are all those basic "DOY! I already knew that!" things you can do with the leftovers and dribs and drabs of fabric scraps that your conscience won't let you through away until the cat pees on them. (My pile of scraps is getting bigger, too. Roll Eyes I think we have that problem licked.) Thing is, you already "know" about it, but when you see the pictures of the finished quilts, you KNOW it'll WORK.

I think I may have a rationale now for finishing up that queen-sized paper-pieced mariners' compass quilt, what with that stomach-churning waste. I can make a nice, coordinated "string quilt"! Big Grin And maybe a "crumb quilt" after that.

Elfie, this is a GREAT quilt website! Thanks so much for posting it! It's inspiring me to do something on rainy days like today.

Bookmarked for future use. Thanks for posting the link! I've got such a terrific pile of scraps. I can actually see some of them in a couple of these patterns.

What a cool site! I bookmarked it so I can share it with a friend on the cat board who quilts.

Didja see the page about the fabric stash? Eeker I am envious of the whole wall of cupboards, with the fabric all neatly folded and organized by color. She mentioned "shopping your stash" and not going out and just buying more fabric and hoarding. She obviously has much more willpower than I do! Smiler And I don't even quilt, yet. Wink
