| I have a neighbour who has a "dead" eye - she can still see with it, but it is fixed and dilated, thanks to a series of strokes that should have killed her. Any light causes her pain. And the eye-patches available around here are all ugly black vinyl - very depressing, and very sweaty in the summer. |
